About the role
Tempo's Atlassian Marketplace suite is one of the most trusted collections of apps in the ecosystem, and it's also one of our biggest opportunities: on its own, each product tells a strong story, but together — and alongside Tempo's new AI-native flagship platform — they can tell a much bigger one. We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own that bigger story — connecting our marketplace products to one another, and connecting all of them to Tempo's flagship platform and its broader Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) narrative.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Product Marketing, you'll be responsible for messaging and positioning across multiple product lines within the marketplace suite, and for the narrative that carries customers from those individual apps into the flagship platform. You'll build narratives that work at the persona level, the use-case level, and the industry level, and you'll know how to weave a compelling thread between products that were once marketed on their own — and between the suite and the platform they now feed into. This is a role for a natural storyteller who partners closely with Product, understands PLG motions from the inside, and is energized by connecting the dots other people haven't connected yet.
What you'll do
Develop messaging and positioning that spans multiple products within the Atlassian Marketplace suite, rather than treating each product as a standalone story.
Build persona-, use-case-, and industry-specific narratives — for audiences ranging from hands-on practitioners to IT and product leaders to the C-suite — that link our marketplace products together and connect them to Tempo's broader SPM and platform story.
Partner closely with Product Management across multiple product lines to stay close to roadmap, capability, and customer insight, and to translate that into market-ready positioning.
Partner with Product Management and Finance on pricing and packaging strategy across the marketplace suite, translating market and buyer willingness-to-pay signals into positioning that supports the model.
Apply PLG (product-led growth) principles to messaging and go-to-market work, ensuring positioning supports self-serve discovery, adoption, and expansion motions alongside sales-assisted paths.
Design and run go-to-market programs and launches across the marketplace suite, from audience and story definition through asset creation and post-launch measurement.
Build and mature a launch tiering framework across the marketplace suite — the criteria that classify a launch's scope and investment level, and the playbooks and cross-functional process that let any future launch run consistently, whether it's a major product release or a minor feature update.
Create high-impact sales and marketplace enablement, including solution briefs, discovery frameworks, ROI and business case tools, and seller training, that help sellers and self-serve buyers navigate a multi-product suite.
Track the competitive landscape across the marketplace suite, and build competitive positioning and battlecards that keep sellers and buyers oriented.
Partner with the Growth Marketing team to translate suite-level messaging into campaigns that drive marketplace discovery, trials, and conversion.
Partner with the Partner Marketing team where relevant to align marketplace suite messaging with broader ecosystem and co-marketing efforts.
Serve as a voice of the market by running customer interviews, gathering feedback from sales and success teams, and validating positioning before it goes wide.
Guide how Tempo engages design partners and customer advisors across the marketplace suite, and ensure what's learned from those conversations — call transcripts, program results, recurring feedback — makes it back into the messaging framework, sales enablement materials, and customer advocacy content.
Use AI tools day-to-day to accelerate research, competitive analysis, and content production, without sacrificing quality. Automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows across the GTM and launch lifecycle, and surface data insights faster — freeing up time for strategic, high-impact work.
Influence the product roadmap across multiple product lines by bringing market, buyer, and PLG-motion insight back to Product Management.
Who you are
Must-haves:
5-8 years of product marketing experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, with a strong solutions marketing background.
A skilled storyteller with a track record of building narratives that connect multiple products, personas, use cases, or industries into a single, coherent story.

A collaborative approach, with a strong track record of working closely with Product Management to shape and communicate positioning.
Experience designing and running go-to-market programs and launches that drove measurable pipeline, adoption, or revenue.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex, multi-product stories easy to understand.
Comfort using AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow — for research, competitive analysis, and content production — with the judgment to know when they're helping and when they're not.
