Summary:

The Senior Product Manager, Payments & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing, launching, and managing embedded banking and payment solutions that enable ISVs, Vertical SaaS providers, marketplaces, and software platforms to offer financial services to their customers. 

The role defines product strategy, owns roadmap prioritization, manages partner integrations, and ensures solutions meet regulatory, operational, commercial, and client experience objectives. This individual will also play a critical leadership role in coordinating cross-functional delivery efforts across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and external partners. 

In addition to Huntington's ISV strategy, this role will support the continued evolution of Huntington's Homeowners Association (HOA) banking and payments program. The Product Manager will identify opportunities to leverage common capabilities across both platforms while driving consistent client experiences and scalable product delivery. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap 
  • Define and execute the ISV product strategy aligned to business growth objectives. 
  • Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap for embedded finance capabilities. 
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, revenue opportunity, risk considerations, and technical feasibility. 
  • Develop product positioning and value propositions for ISV partners and their customers. 
  • Monitor emerging fintech, banking-as-a-service, payments, and embedded finance trends. 
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps supporting both the ISV platform and HOA banking and payments solutions. 
  • Identify opportunities to leverage common technology, onboarding, servicing, payment, treasury, and reporting capabilities across multiple embedded finance programs. 
•  Embedded Finance & Payments Design and manage products supporting: 
  • Merchant acquiring 
  • ACH origination and receipt 
  • Real-time payments 
  • Wire transfers 
  • Virtual accounts and ledgers 
  • Embedded deposits 
  • Treasury management services 
  • Payouts and disbursements 
  • Funding and settlement services 
  • Future lending and capital solutions 
• Responsibilities include: 
  • Defining end-to-end money movement and settlement experiences 
  • Developing onboarding, activation, and servicing workflows 
  • Establishing integration requirements including APIs and webhooks 
  • Defining operational, support, reporting, and reconciliation capabilities 
  • Managing product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization 
  • Supporting Huntington's HOA banking and payments capabilities, including integrated payment acceptance, treasury services, account management, and operational workflows 
•  ISV Partnership Management 
  • Serve as the business owner for strategic ISV relationships. 
  • Understand partner business models, industry workflows, and commercial requirements. 
  • Drive integration discussions with fintech and processing partners. 
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing, and go-to-market planning. 
  • Define integration standards including APIs, embedded components, and developer experiences. 
•  Product Delivery & Program Execution 
  • Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives from concept through launch, ensuring successful delivery against business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Own backlog management, prioritization, sprint readiness, and release planning activities in partnership with technology teams. 
  • Coordinate and actively manage cross-functional dependencies across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and external partners. 
  • Track milestones, risks, issues, blockers, and critical-path activities, proactively driving mitigation plans and escalation as needed. 
  • Facilitate operating rhythms including standups, sprint planning, status reviews, steering committee updates, release readiness reviews, and retrospectives. 
  • Establish scalable execution frameworks that support simultaneous onboarding and implementation of multiple ISV and strategic partner relationships. 
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability to ensure delivery commitments are met. 
  • Ensure go-to-market readiness activities are completed and coordinated across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Servicing, Risk, and Support organizations. 
  • Partner with implementation, onboarding, and operational teams to successfully transition new capabilities and partner integrations into production. 
  • Develop and maintain integrated roadmaps, implementation plans, and executive reporting that provide visibility into program health, delivery status, and strategic priorities. 
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple strategic initiatives, including Huntington's ISV and HOA platforms. 
•  Risk & Compliance 
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Fraud, BSA/AML, and Operational Risk teams. 
  • Ensure solutions meet applicable regulatory requirements and bank policies. 
  • Incorporate controls for onboarding, KYC, OFAC, AML, fraud monitoring, and merchant risk management. 
  • Support governance reviews, product approvals, and risk assessments. 
•  Commercialization & Growth 
  • Develop business cases and financial models. 
  • Track product utilization, profitability, and revenue performance. 
  • Identify opportunities for treasury, deposit, lending, and merchant service expansion. 
  • Support sales enablement, partner onboarding, and market activation activities. 
  • Develop strategies for targeted vertical markets and strategic partnerships. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years experience in Product Management, Payments, Banking, Fintech, or related experience

• 7+ years experience in merchant acquiring, payments, treasury management, embedded finance, or banking products. 

• 7+ years experience with card processing, ACH, settlement and funding, merchant onboarding, payment facilitators (PayFac), embedded finance ecosystems, and API-driven platforms 
• 7+ years experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies and stakeholders. 

• 7+ years experience with analytics and executive presentations. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with ISVs, Vertical SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or fintech partnerships. 

• Experience supporting property management, HOA, association banking, or real-estate technology ecosystems. 

• Knowledge of acquiring processors, fintech infrastructure, and payment ecosystems. 

• Experience leading complex product launches or enterprise transformation initiatives. 

• Familiarity with Fiserv, Qolo, Alloy, or similar ecosystem providers. 

• Agile product development and delivery experience. 

• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
