Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Planner Connected Car Services PMO to join our team in Franklin, TN. The Senior Planner in Connected Car Services PMO will be responsible for the management of specific programs relating to Connected Services. Support transformational activities of NNA towards a focus on connected vehicles and mobility and their associated benefits to Nissan and Infiniti customers as well as to the company.  

Manages programs and projects that support the enablement and implementation of new services for Infiniti InTouch and NissanConnect services.  Leads large cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create development schedules and manage software/system development teams to ensure a high level of quality and on time delivery.

CCS scope includes projects supporting embedded TCU telematics reporting/analytics, mobile app development, IoT integration and, foundational elements for autonomous drive.

A Day in the Life:   

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

• Work with other functions within CCS PMO, Aftersales, NTC-NA, Total Customer Satisfaction, Nissan Digital, Legal, Product Planning, Purchasing and other regional functions to align, track, lead, and maintain connected service projects.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly by engaging the appropriate teams, evaluating existing requirements and escalating to higher management, when necessary
• Score, Maintain, and Communicate Project Score cards as required.
• Work with NML Connected Vehicles Teams and other internal and external stakeholders to assist in  Nissan’s overall connected services.
• Identify and develop cross-functional partnerships required for connected car projects.
• Advocate and promote connected services throughout Nissan North America; drive employee and executive engagement.
• Coordinates workshops and leads technically minded discussions with subject matter experts supporting system architecture, business development, finance, operations, marketing, QA and other internal Nissan teams with telematics technical service providers. 
• Maintains project schedules, ensures clear business/technical requirements and representation from all stakeholders for new service development, key improvements and change requests. 
• Organize and maintain thorough documentation to provide clear references when questions arise
• Tracks adoption timing and budget for change of scope requests. In order to contain costs, evaluates if change request is absolutely necessary.
• Management of the change request process to ensure timely deliverable of supplier quotes.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience, having been responsible for leading cross-functional projects.
• Exceptional program/project management; prior experience as a project manager or leader on both large and small projects. Able to manage more than one project at a time.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills both oral and written, not hesitating to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding and encourage critical thinking.
• Effectively presents to both large and small audiences, conveying information transparently and engaging with diverse groups.
• Exhibits a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to delve into issues, thoroughly investigating to uncover solutions.
• Ability to perform work onsite at NNA HQ Franklin, TN.
• Travel: 10% domestic and international travel.

Desired:

• Detailed and IT mindset is desirable
• Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
• Telematics or other software-based project management experience is preferred. 
• Prior Information Technology roles such as programmer, engineer, or analysts a plus.
• Prior experience in a start-up or fast paced IT/IS environment focused on service delivery or planning is desired.
