About the Role
GoTo is looking for a Senior People Analytics Specialist who is passionate about turning people data into meaningful insights and better decisions.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between People, Data, and Business, helping leaders understand not just what is happening within our workforce, understanding the “why” behind the numbers, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that shape our people strategy.

What Will You Do
What Will You Need
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience within an HR context (e.g., HR Generalist with strong analytical flair, People Operations Analyst, or Talent Data Analyst).
Deep understanding of HR metrics, talent lifecycles, and employee engagement frameworks.
Adept in SQL: Ability to write clean queries, joins, and aggregations to extract data from the Data Warehouse.
Advanced Spreadsheet Skills: Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, complex nested formulas).
Analytical Approach: Strong diagnostic mindset and curious about the why behind data trends, not just reporting the numbers.
Data Storytelling: Ability to present technical data clearly to non-technical stakeholders in a conversational, actionable way.
Strong business acumen and ability to connect people insights with business priorities.
High level of discretion, empathy, and judgment when handling confidential people data.
About the Team
It's an Individual Contributor role, part of the HRIS team. This broader team drives and maintains the People and Culture tools across the department/ function for example, L&D tools, survey tools as well as Workday. Working in this team - your key stakeholders are the PAC leadership team and people business partners. You’ll work very closely with all teams across PAC translating data into meaningful insights so we can identify and manage relevant interventions and generate key reports for the business. This role has access to lost of sensitive information so maturity and trust are important aspect for this role.
