Working on a global platform with millions of active users, this role examines the efficiency and security of our online payment systems, analyses patterns and trends across transactions and makes recommendations that directly shape how money moves. We're looking for a Senior Payments Operations Specialist with deep industry expertise who's ready to own that analysis and see it acted on.

What you’ll build with us:
Sitting within the Payments & Fraud team and reporting to the Payment Operations Manager, this is a seat with real influence. Expect to spend your days deep in the data, working out what's happening across our payment platforms and why, then turning those insights into recommendations the wider team acts on. Between that, there are customer cases to untangle, external providers to work alongside and ways of working to improve as the business scales.

The impact you’ll make:

• Improve deposit and withdrawal experience and performance, troubleshooting technical issues and streamlining payment processes
• Act as the secondary escalation point for complex customer payment issues, from error spikes to missing transactions and other anomalies
• Analyse transaction data to identify patterns, root causes and opportunities, producing regular performance reporting that drives prioritisation
• Liaise with third party payment processors and service providers to resolve issues and keep acceptance rates high
• Support initiatives that automate routine tasks and bring efficiency, control and scalability to payment operations
• Develop and maintain documentation for workflows and troubleshooting, and train new team members on payment systems

Your track record:

• Experience in payments, gambling, global e-commerce, online retail payments, fintech or with PSPs
• Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating payment conversion rates and costs
• Familiarity with a variety of online payment aggregators, platforms and gateway services
• Critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
• High level communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to adapt within an extremely fast paced environment
