Job Title: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, Product Development

The Job

At this time, we are seeking to hire a self-driven, results oriented and seasoned Software Development professional with 6-10 years of hands-on Software Development experience that includes the following.

A suitable candidate would love to develop software in a fast-paced team environment, thoroughly enjoys coding and has a strong continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test Microsoft Windows-based software systems using C#, .NET, and SQL in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
• Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration practices to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery
• Contribute to Agile development ceremonies and sprint cycles, maintaining a strong continuous improvement mindset
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality
• Build strong working relationships across diverse teams while maintaining a clear focus on customer needs and product quality

Essential Requirements

• Hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and SQL with a proven ability to develop and test Microsoft Windows-based software systems
• Expertise in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in AI-assisted rapid software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's Degree in Computer Science is a plus

Hybrid working

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote.
