Job Title: Senior Manager -Technical & Projects

The job

We are looking for an electrical engineer who is passionate about the field of electrical engineering and possesses strong academic and practical knowledge of various aspects of power system studies. You will be responsible for providing electrical power system consulting and engineering support services to various clients around the world, using power system software such as ETAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, or equivalent software, along with other engineering tools. Your responsibilities will include performing power system analysis, designing and reviewing electrical systems, and troubleshooting electrical site issues and tripping incidents.

Essential requirements

1) Leading and executing engineering studies in one or more of the following areas:  Power System Studies: Including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, relay coordination, arc flash, harmonic analysis, and renewable energy systems (solar, wind, and battery energy storage).  Electromagnetic Switching Transient Studies: studies covering insulation coordination studies, lightning surge impact and GIS switching analysis.  Electromagnetic Interference (EMI/EMC) Studies:

2) Addressing interference issues in complex electrical environments such as Oil & gas plants, railways etc. Utilizing advanced simulation tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, or equivalent software to perform detailed analyses. Internal  Providing engineering recommendations for the design, operation, and optimization of electrical systems based on study outcomes, ensuring alignment with industry standards (IEC/IEEE) and client requirements.

3) Reviewing electrical systems including power distribution networks, industrial control systems, and renewable energy installations, ensuring compliance with international standards such as IEC and IEEE.

4) Managing project scope ensuring timely completion of deliverables within allocated man hours.

5) Troubleshooting electrical issues such as system tripping, site incidents, and equipment failures, and offering technical support to clients for effective resolution.

6) Responding to technical queries from clients on project reports and providing clear, accurate, and timely information.

7) Preparing and delivering professional reports, presentations, and workshops tailored to project requirements and client expectations.
