About the role
Join us as a Senior Manager (Private Equity) to oversee a critical portfolio of PE projects, across buy and sell side AI due diligence, AI driven portfolio value creation, portfolio scans, and internal AI use cases.
You will be the primary senior point of contact for both clients and internal Faculty teams. You will drive successful delivery, manage project commercial viability, and nurture strong customer relationships. This is an entrepreneurial role where you will identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to the growth of the business unit. You will lead and mentor cross-functional teams while acting as a strategic consultant, applying structured thinking to solve complex, real-world problems with Applied AI.
What you'll be doing:
Leading high-velocity buy-side and sell-side AI due diligence engagements under tight transaction deadlines, translating complex technical risk into clear Investment Committee (IC) thesis points.
Executing comprehensive market scans and AI maturity benchmarking to assess how target companies compare against industry peers and emerging tech entrants.
Identifying and quantifying AI disintermediation and business model disruption risks that could threaten a target’s mid-to-long-term defensibility or terminal value.
Directing cross-functional technical teams to evaluate target data assets, proprietary IP, and technical architecture, determining their defensibility against rapidly advancing frontier AI models.
Driving business development across private equity sponsors and deal leads, building long-term advisory relationships across investment teams and portfolio company executives.
Advising clients on AI strategy and solutions, while articulating the value of AI in diverse business contexts
Leading effective project meetings and ensuring clear, consistent communication of purpose and direction to both internal teams and clients
Identifying risks early, and leading teams to implement effective mitigating actions to ensure project success
Mentoring and developing project team members’ skills, aligning their responsibilities with their professional growth
Who we're looking for:
Demonstrated experience delivering rapid-turnaround AI due diligence, commercial/tech due diligence, or growth strategy projects within PE, M&A, or transaction advisory environments.
Highly skilled at communicating trade-offs directly to PE deal partners, operating partners, and target executive teams.
Deep understanding of AI unit economics, data moats, and how advancing AI capabilities alter cost structures across B2B software and tech-enabled services.
Demonstrated ability to quantify the return on investment for PE firms from investing in a particular company. Experience as an equity analyst, with a desire to leverage the rigour of investment analysis to support consulting and AI strategy for PE clients.
You have successful experience in technology delivery, ideally from a consulting, technology, or data-specific background
You can provide a structured, analytical, and technical breakdown of problems, defining solutions that enhance customer workflows
You can identify and implement new business opportunities, including finding growth within accounts and visible support on external business development.
You are comfortable working in an ambiguous setting and have a clear understanding of how to structure commercials and pricing.
