Key responsibilities:
- Develops and manages financial plans, including annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and financial modelling, ensuring the alignment with strategic goals.
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into organizational financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversees the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and controls budgetary allocations and expenditures across various business areas and/or projects. Identifies variances and implements corrective actions as needed.
- Oversees the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analysis of financial performance.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial risks that could impact business financial stability or profitability.
- Implements and monitors risk management strategies and policies.
- Establishes and maintains strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Provides financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws in the regions where the organization operates.
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors.
- Maintains relationships with investors and analysts, providing them with accurate and transparent financial information and responding to inquiries.
- Builds and leads a high-performing finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

- Broad knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Deep proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a finance team.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Finance related field preferred.
Required experience:
- Extended financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives.
- Extended demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function
- Extended strategic planning experience.
- Extended in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process.
- Extended experience managing finance operations on a global scale, including knowledge of international taxation, foreign exchange, and regulatory compliance in multiple regions.
