JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting processes.
• Monitor portfolio financial performance and analyse key drivers impacting distributable income and DPU.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and market expectations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance

DPU and Management Reporting

• Modelling and forecasting, analyse parameters that affects distributable income and DPU
• Develop scenario analyses to support management decision-making
• Prepare financial and analytical papers for Audit & Risk Committee and Board meetings
• Coordinate and draft responses to Board, ARC and external stakeholder queries.

Analyst and Market Intelligence

• Review analyst reports, consensus estimates and market expectations
• Identify key variances between management forecasts and analyst assumptions and provide insights to management to support investor engagement and earnings communications
• Track industry, peer and REIT market developments relevant to the business.

Financial Stewardship over a portfolio of entities  

• End-to-end stewardship includes financial reporting, statutory audit, tax compliance, cashflow oversight, corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

Strategic Finance and Transaction Support

• Support financial evaluation of acquisitions, divestments, asset enhancement initiatives and other strategic projects
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analyses

Corporate Governance and Policies

• Lead periodic review and maintenance of finance-related policies, procedures and internal controls
• Monitor compliance with finance policies and governance frameworks

Team Leadership

• Assist the CFO in fostering a collaborative and aligned Finance organization through enhancing trust and communication
• Provide guidance and mentoring to finance team members
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, analytics capabilities and financial systems

Any other initiatives as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• About 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years at managerial level, with prior audit background and/or experience in REIT industry preferred
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment
• Analytical, resourceful, good problem-solving capability (including the adoption of AI-assisted tools) and commercial mind set
• Strong FP&A and financial modelling expertise
• Experience with SAP/BPC and Hyperion preferred
