Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Join Crusoe's Finance team as an embedded strategic and operational partner to Manufacturing leadership. This role reports into the Director of Finance, Manufacturing. You will design new processes from the ground up to meet the changing needs of a fast-growing organization, improve existing ones, and bring a financial lens to business decision making. Your work will directly shape the financial trajectory of the business unit and its long-term success.

You will work cross-functionally with the Manufacturing org, R&D, Accounting, Data Center, and Cloud teams, acting as a co-pilot in steering the business toward its financial goals. This is a builder role. We are looking for someone who can operate at the ground level and as a strategic leader across multiple stakeholders to drive decisions.

This role is based in our Denver office, with at least two days per week spent at our manufacturing locations in Arvada and Brighton. Some light travel is required.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Planning & Forecasting: Own end-to-end financial planning cycles for the manufacturing business line, including the annual budget, long-range plan (LRP), monthly rolling forecasts, and month- and quarter-end close support.

  • Executive Reporting: Build clear, actionable performance narratives for executive, board, and investor materials.

  • Strategic Financial Modeling: Build and scale complex financial models to support the commercialization and roll-out of Crusoe Spark™ modular AI factories.

  • Business Partnership: Act as the primary financial advisor and hands-on "on-the-floor" partner to Manufacturing leadership, providing data-driven insights on strategic and operational decisions, and translating those decisions into near- and long-term financial impact.

  • Scenario Analysis: Deliver robust modeling and scenario analysis for new initiatives, capacity planning, customer profitability, and market expansion.

  • Driver-Based Analysis: Translate operational drivers such as production efficiency, utilization, and operational uptime into P&L impacts and actionable recommendations.

  • Cost Accounting & Product Costing: Partner with corporate accounting to establish standard costing frameworks, manage inventory valuation, track variances, monitor excess and obsolete (E&O) risk, and deliver insights on cost drivers to support margin management and investment decisions.

  • Profitability & Efficiency Initiatives: Proactively identify risks and opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency, partnering with operational teams to develop improvement plans.

  • Process Improvement: Design new processes required by business growth and improve existing ones in close collaboration with Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Manufacturing teams.

  • Process & Control Integrity: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Strong manufacturing finance background with working knowledge of cost accounting.

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years supporting a business unit P&L.

  • Capital budgeting and resource planning experience.

  • Advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to build driver-based models, sensitivity analyses, and complex operational scenarios from the ground up.

  • Strong business acumen. You connect financial analysis to operational and strategic levers, look around corners, and translate risks and opportunities into financial impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational data into clear financial insights and executive-ready narratives.

  • Proven track record of working with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.

  • Proactive and self-driven, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple priorities. You don't wait to be asked. You identify problems, instinctively seek solutions, and take ownership of outcomes.

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, Oracle, SAP) and financial planning or BI tools.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with project management and technical teams, translating project-specific updates into financial impact analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.

  • Experience in a high-growth technology, infrastructure, energy, or data center environment strongly preferred.

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
