We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Integration and Application Onboarding to serve as a strategic partner between ISAM and application owners, guiding teams through the adoption of ISAM solutions such as SailPoint, CyberArk, and other identity security technologies.

What You Will Achieve

The Senior Manager, Business Integration and Application Onboarding is a key role within the Identity Security and Access Management (ISAM) organization, responsible for driving successful onboarding, integration, and adoption of applications across enterprise identity platforms, including SailPoint, CyberArk, and other IAM technologies. This role serves as the strategic bridge between the ISAM Engineering team and business technology organizations, partnering with application owners, Digital teams, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into secure, scalable identity solutions. The Senior Manager will lead the end-to-end application onboarding lifecycle, ensuring integrations align with security standards, architectural principles, and operational requirements while driving adoption of ISAM capabilities, delivering a seamless customer experience, and advancing Pfizer’s identity security objectives.

 

This role reports to the Director, Identity Governance, and requires a combination of IAM expertise, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership to drive adoption of ISAM capabilities and continuously improve the onboarding experience for application teams.

How You Will Achieve It

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end application onboarding lifecycle for identity and access management platforms, including application discovery, requirements gathering, integration planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operational support in alignment with Pfizer’s compliance requirements.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner between the ISAM Engineering team and application owners across Digital organizations, ensuring alignment between business needs, security requirements, technical capabilities, and delivery expectations.
• Partner with application teams to understand application architectures, identity data requirements, and business processes to define appropriate IAM integration approaches and enable secure access management solutions.
• Drive adoption of IAM capabilities, including identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access management, authentication and directory services, ensuring applications leverage ISAM capabilities effectively.
• Manage application onboarding roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones across multiple concurrent initiatives to ensure successful execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Establish and maintain standardized onboarding processes, documentation, governance practices, and communication models to improve scalability, consistency, and customer experience.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities by ensuring applications are onboarded in accordance with security controls, regulatory expectations, and enterprise IAM standards.
• Partner with communication teams to drive awareness, adoption, and effective utilization of ISAM capabilities across the enterprise.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency through automation, process optimization, and platform enhancements.
• Define and track key performance indicators related to application onboarding, adoption, delivery timelines, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in IT, identity and access management, cybersecurity, or related enterprise technology roles.
• Proven experience leading complex technology implementations, application integrations, or enterprise-scale onboarding programs.
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), CyberArk, or similar enterprise IAM technologies.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including:
  • Identity lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver processes)
  • Access governance and certification
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Authentication and authorization concepts
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Application integration patterns
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architectures, including databases, APIs, directories, authentication protocols, and integration methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and deliver outcomes in a complex enterprise environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and teams, including application owners, engineering teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure technology solutions aligned with business objectives and outcomes.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing and improving operational processes, governance frameworks, and technology adoption strategies.
• Experience driving automation and process improvements within IAM operations.

• Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

• 4+ years of experience focused specifically on leading IAM application onboarding initiatives, integrating enterprise applications with identity security platforms, and delivering scalable identity lifecycle and access management solutions.
• Experience working within a large global enterprise cybersecurity or CISO organization.
• Experience implementing or operating SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, CyberArk, or comparable IAM platforms at enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, audit requirements, and identity-related regulatory controls.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), SailPoint certifications, or CyberArk certifications.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
