About the Role:

As a Senior Manager, Accounting at ShopMy, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the financial infrastructure that supports our continued growth. You'll own the day-to-day accounting function, bring a strong audit mindset to everything you touch, and partner cross-functionally to ensure our financial data is accurate, prepared timely, and built to scale. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of something category-defining.

Your Impact to the Role:

• Own day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations ,variance explanations and financial reporting
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data across the business
• Bring a strong audit mindset to internal controls, compliance, and financial processes
• Research technical accounting matters, and prepare clear, well supported memos for audit and financial reporting purposes
• Apply industry-relevant accounting knowledge to navigate the nuances of a high-growth technology and creator economy company
• Identify opportunities to improve and scale accounting systems and workflows as the business grows
• Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in audit
• CPA license 
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards and demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and write up technical accounting positions and memos
• Familiarity with modern accounting tools and a track record of process improvement
• Industry-relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator who can translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
