About the Role
Reporting to the Process Engineer/Team Leader, the Senior Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing machine operations to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production in line with quality and performance targets. The role focuses on maintaining equipment at Set-to-Standard and Run-to-Standard conditions, supporting CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication) execution, and taking ownership of critical operational activities such as brand changeovers.
What You Will Do
- Operate and oversee machines to meet production targets
- Ensure machines are consistently operating at Run-to-Standard conditions
- Monitor machine performance and take action to address deviations
- Minimise downtime through proactive intervention and escalation
- Enforce adherence to SOPs and work instructions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, 5S)
Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience in similar role in Manufacturing Industry
- Basic mechanical or technical knowledge
- Strong understanding of machine operations and production processes
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing / TPM practices
- Experience with changeovers and machine setup
- Candidates with trade certificate or certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply
