We are currently looking for a Senior HR Business Partner (f/m/d)

at our headquarter in Monheim am Rhein

How you'll make an impact:

• Act as a strategic sparring partner for senior leaders and dedicated business divisions, translating business priorities into pragmatic people strategies and measurable HR initiatives.

• Independently diagnose complex organizational and people challenges, design fit-for-purpose HR solutions, and lead their implementation through to sustainable adoption.

• Drive talent, performance, workforce and succession planning activities, identifying critical capability needs and supporting leadership teams in building strong future pipelines.

• Lead organizational development and change initiatives, including restructuring, transformation, leadership effectiveness and culture-related projects.

• Manage senior stakeholder relationships with confidence, proactively influencing decisions and aligning diverse interests in a complex matrix environment.

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, leadership and labour law topics, ensuring legally sound and business-oriented outcomes.

• Analyse HR data, trends and business indicators to derive insights, challenge assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making.

• Collaborate effectively with HR Centers of Excellence and local HR teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions for the business.

• Promote an inclusive, high-performance culture that reflects Ecolab’s values and supports continuous development.

Labour Law & Labour Relations:

• Lead and shape a consistent approach to implementing global, regional and local initiatives across more than one legal entity.

• Manage complex co-determination processes with works councils, building constructive relationships and driving aligned consultation approaches.

• Identify opportunities to harmonize regulations and practices across legal entities where this creates business value.

• Lead negotiations and implementation of complex labour relations topics, such as collective benefits, working time arrangements, restructuring measures or social plans.

Qualifications:

• Typically 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including several years in an HR Business Partner role with responsibility for senior stakeholders and complex business areas.

• Proven track record of independently designing and implementing HR solutions, change initiatives or organizational development measures with measurable business impact.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand operational priorities, anticipate people implications and translate them into practical HR actions.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise, challenge and influence leaders at different levels.

• Experience in leading HR topics end-to-end in a corporate, matrixed environment or as an HR leader in a small or medium-sized organization who is ready to contribute in an international group setting.

• Solid knowledge of German employment law and works constitution, including experience in working and negotiating with works councils.

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities, combined with pragmatic implementation focus.

• Ability to prioritize effectively, navigate ambiguity and take ownership in a dynamic, international environment.

• Experience with HRIS and digital HR tools; curiosity to use data and technology to improve HR impact.

• Fluency in German and business English is required.
