About the Role:

As the General Ledger Senior Accountant, you'll be the go-to person for everything related to Prepaid Expenses and Leases. On a typical day, you'll review new lease agreements to determine accounting implications, reconcile monthly lease journal entries back to Lease Query, and collaborate closely with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to identify when leases are expected to commence. You'll also own the reconciliation of the prepaid expenses sub-ledger to the general ledger, prepare Prepaids waterfalls across Crusoe's consolidated entities, and manual prepaid reconciliations to keep everything accurate and audit-ready.

Beyond the day-to-day mechanics, you'll play a key role in the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, supporting fluctuation analysis, and partnering with the Cloud Operations, Data Infrastructure teams and various Accounting functions on new leases, modifications and prepaids. You'll thrive in this role if you're detail-oriented, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and energized by finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, take ownership of their responsibilities, and stay a step ahead in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment while also lending support on audits, due diligence, and other projects as they arise.

What You'll Be Working On:

• Review new lease agreements and lease modifications and input them into LeaseQuery

• Track and reconcile lease activity on a month-to-month basis

• Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to identify when leases are expected to commence

• Reconcile Lease Liabilities and ROU Asset balances from LeaseQuery to general ledger

• Reconcile the prepaid expenses sub-ledger to the general ledger

• Prepare and reconcile monthly and year-to-date Prepaid asset waterfalls across Crusoe's consolidated legal entities

• Prepare and record monthly close journal entries

• Support monthly reporting and fluctuation analysis

• Collaborate with the Cloud Operations, Data Infrastructure teams and various Accounting functions on leases and prepaid expenses

• Support audit and due diligence requests as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• 4-6 years of general ledger accounting experience

• Experience with leases accounting

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Solid understanding of GAAP

• Working knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices

• Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions

• Exposure to and understanding of month-end financial reporting processes

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
