Supermetrics is now seeking a high-calibre and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and other key financial documents
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Contribute meaningfully to day-to-day financial operations including AP, expenses, treasury and payroll, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in managing group, parent and subsidiary tax compliance, including direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing etc working closely with external advisors.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during interim and annual audits and assist in resolving audit queries
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance to internal policies
- Continually evaluate and optimise monthly close and other finance processes, striving to deliver best practice in process automation, efficiencies and improved accuracy through AI enabled new ways of working.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA etc)
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ PQE, ideally gained in a technology business
- Experience working with NetSuite preferred or other ERP tools such as Oracle, SAP and Workday
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Continuously seeks to improve processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy

How we use AI in the recruitment process:
We use AI to help our recruiters work through applications faster, for example, summarizing your resume and scheduling interviews. A recruiter reviews every application, and no hiring decision is ever made by AI.
For some roles, your first interview may be with an AI interviewer instead of a person, and a recruiter reviews that conversation before deciding whether you move forward. From there, our human interviewers may use AI to take notes throughout the rest of the process, never to score or evaluate you, just so they can stay focused on the conversation instead of typing. You'll be told before this happens, and if you'd rather not be recorded, you can opt out at any point. It covers the rest of your process and never affects how you're evaluated.
