This role is a key member of the WPM GEO Reporting team, partnering closely with the WPM GEO Finance Director in delivering timely financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end performance analysis.

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for preparing financial analysis, coordinating reporting activities, maintaining standardized reporting templates, and supporting finance planning processes. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder coordination while operating within established reporting frameworks and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Month End Reporting and Performance Analysis

• Support the month-end close and performance review process through preparation of financial reports and reporting packages.
• Collect, consolidate, and validate commentary from stakeholders to support monthly reporting submissions.
• Perform variance analysis against Plan, Forecast, Prior Year, and other relevant benchmarks, identifying key drivers and trends.
• Support the preparation of standard month-end communications; reporting deliverables and presentation decks.

Forecasting and Budgeting Support

• Coordinate and support the forecasting and annual budgeting process for the GEO Finance Lead.
• Consolidate planning submissions from various stakeholders and perform completeness and accuracy checks.
• Prepare forecast and budget templates, schedules, and supporting analysis.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Prepare regular financial analyses, support scenario and trend analysis to aid planning discussions and decision-making.
• Raise questions and challenge assumptions where appropriate to improve clarity and quality of financial commentary.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and analysis from finance and business stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of published reports and financial information.

Stakeholder Coordination and Team Support

• Work closely with GEO Finance Leads, Regional Reporting Team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate reporting timelines, action items, and follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Support project coordination activities, including meeting preparation, action tracking, and status updates.
• Provide support for system enhancements and reporting improvements,
