Functional (job responsibilities)

(I) Co-ordinate and provide effective back-office support, not limited to the followings:

Transaction Processing:

o Initiate and process remittance transactions (e.g., SWIFT, local payments) accurately and within established timelines.

o Verify the completeness and correctness of remittance requests, including account details, payment instructions, and

documentation.

o Ensure all transactions (outward and inward) are processed accurately and timely and in compliance with set procedures,

controls and guidelines.

o Ability to perform an effective and accurate dual controls role on transactions

Transaction Reconciliation:

o Reconciliation of position with agent banks and internal GL accounts

Compliance and Documentation:

o Ensure compliance with Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), sanctions screening and regulatory requirements.

o Maintain proper records of transactions and related documents for audit purposes.

Coordination and Communication:

o Liaise with internal teams and counter-parties to resolve discrepancies in remittance requests.

o Communicate with stakeholders to confirm instructions or clarify details when necessary.

System Usage:

o Utilize remittance processing systems and tools for data entry, validations, and approvals.

o Perform daily reconciliations of processed transactions against system records.

Risk Mitigation:

o Identify and escalate potential risks or unusual transactions to the compliance team.

o Ensure all transactions meet the organization's risk management policies.

Reporting:

o Generate and share daily/weekly transaction reports with relevant stakeholders.

o Monitor and track pending transactions to ensure timely completion.

(II) Multi-Project & Testing Support

Requirement Analysis & Test Cases:

Review business requirements and functional specifications across Payment

Hub, v8, and SAA systems. Develop comprehensive test scenarios covering end-to-end remittance flows and edge

cases.

Pre-Project Testing Execution:

Conduct hands-on SIT, UAT, Regression, and Industry Testing. Validate system outputs against expected regulatory and ISO20022/MX messaging standards.

Defect Management & Runbooks:

Log, track, and re-test system defects in collaboration with IT and vendors. Assist in

writing operational runbooks and configuring business rules.

Post-Go-Live Hypercare & Stabilization:

Provide high-touch operational support during post-implementation hypercare

periods following major project deployments, managing fallback procedures, system patching checks, and operational handovers.

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

·       Manage all stakeholders in relation to BAU matters

·       Responsible to ensure all deliverables meet the require standard, accuracy and timeliness

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

·       To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management

·       Respect HL Bank’s culture and play an active role in the communities
