The Senior Enterprise Tools Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering organization, responsible for designing and developing integrations across the Enterprise Tools ecosystem to enable seamless data flow, analytics, and AI‑driven solutions across the enterprise.
This role blends REST API–based integrations, data engineering fundamentals, and AI automation to streamline information exchange and improve decision intelligence across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain REST API–based integrations across enterprise platforms to support unified data sharing and workflow automation.
- Architect and implement middleware or service-layer solutions (e.g., Dell Boomi, Kafka, API Gateways) to support scalable, event-driven integrations.
- Develop data pipelines and integration patterns that enable GenAI solutions, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation across the tool stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, reliability, and accessibility across enterprise systems.
- Maintain high standards of security, performance, and observability in all integration solutions.
- Work with LSEG Architecture group in defining potential technology solutions and ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
- Collaborate with business and functional leads to socialise technology projects and obtain cross functional approvals from Legal, Group Risk, Compliance, LCH Ltd/LCH SA,
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- REST API & Integration Engineering
- Integration patterns: synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven, webhooks, retries, idempotency
- API security (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateways, mTLS)
- One or more Middleware, Messaging and Service Layer Technologies like Dell Boomi, Kafka, Azure Integration Services, or similar
- AI and Data Foundations with experience in Gen AI / LLM led solution development.
- AI/ML workflows
- Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Stakeholder Management
- Reporting Frameworks
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
- Proven training in software development lifecycle or methodologies
- Understanding of Agile
- Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong Planning, organisational and stakeholder holder management, with confidence to challenge preconceptions of outcomes and solutions.
- Good communication, presentation, documentation, and customer engagement skills with proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels.
