Roles & Responsibilities

Software Development

·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.

·       Develop responsive and reusable user interfaces using React and JavaScript.

·       Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core.

·       Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following established coding standards and design principles.

·       Work with SQL databases to design queries, stored procedures, database objects, and optimize application data access.

·       Analyze and troubleshoot application issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.

·       Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development and quality standards.

Architecture & Technical Design

·       Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.

·       Design scalable and maintainable application components following appropriate design patterns and principles.

·       Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate optimization strategies.

·       Evaluate tech

·       Evaluate technical approaches and recommend solutions based on scalability, maintainability, and performance.

·       Participate in modernization and technology migration initiatives where required.

Quality & Engineering Practices

·       Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and maintainability.

·       Investigate defects and production issues and implement effective root-cause fixes.

·       Follow secure coding practices and contribute to application security improvements.

·       Maintain technical documentation for application components and solutions.

·       Collaborate with QA teams to support functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

Collaboration & Leadership

·       Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, QA and other engineering teams.

·       Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

·       Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

·       Conduct and participate in technical and code reviews.

·       Communicate technical issues, solutions, and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

Core — Must Have

·       Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and C#.

·       Strong hands-on experience developing frontend applications using React.

·       Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and prompt engineering, including writing effective prompts for code generation, debugging, code review, documentation, and solution design using AI tools.

·       Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ concepts and modern frontend development practices.

·       Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.

·       Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

·       Good understanding of web application architecture and client-server communication.

·       Experience with software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

·       Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production issue troubleshooting.

·       Good understanding of Git and source-code management practices.

·       Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.

Good to Have

·       Experience with Java and/or Java-based backend applications.

·       Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or equivalent.

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

·       Exposure to Docker and containerized application deployment.

·       Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

·       Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.

·       Exposure to application monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools.

·       Experience with microservices architecture.

·       Knowledge of secure application development and OWASP principles.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields, or equivalent practical experience:

·       Computer Science

·       Computer Engineering

·       Information Technology

·       Software Engineering

·       Related technical discipline

Relevant technical certifications are considered a plus.

Experience

·       4–7 years of hands-on industry experience in software development.

·       Demonstrable experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications using .NET Core and React.

·       Strong experience working across frontend, backend, and SQL/database layers.

·       Experience participating in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.

·       Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional engineering teams.

·       Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
