Rex Minerals is an Australian mining company dedicated to the development of its flagship A$1.0B Copper-Gold Hillside Project located on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. The project will be a significant contributor to the South Australian economy and is providing employment opportunities for locals and for those looking to move to the area.

Hillside is in a highly attractive regional location approximately 150km from Adelaide and is one of the largest copper/gold projects under development in Australia. The project is fully approved and early-stage site access work, major Highway diversions, site utilities and awarding of contracts and building the team to execute the project has commenced.

KBR is a global provider of full life cycle professional services supporting clients in delivery of major projects like Hillside and is providing expertise as part of an Integrated Owners team delivering the Project on behalf of Rex Minerals.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic person to join our document management team with a can-do attitude and a love for multi-tasking. We will encourage and empower you to work in a way that suits your style and build success together.

As the Senior Document Management Specialist, you will be working on the Rex Minerals Hillside project. The role is full time based in the project office in Adelaide CBD. The focus of this role is to undertake all document management functions including but not limited to:

• Checking/validation/verification of all documentation, including correct numbering, revisions, status, format, title and legibility

• Maintenance of electronic records and document registers

• Processing and recording incoming and outgoing vendor data and engineering design drawings

• Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date internal Document Management system

• Responsible for the record document flow to and from all necessary parties

• Issue and track location of all documents and drawings

• Train the project teams on Document Management systems and/or project specific systems and procedures

• Managing and setting up the document review via workflow in InEight

Who are you?

As a Senior Document Management Specialist, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in any related technical field or document control/ document management position

• Significant experience in document control/ document management positions

• Any experience in Document Management software including InEight,  Aconex, and Documentum would be an advantage, especially setting up and managing document review via workflow.

• Proven history contributing to a team effort in project environments

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage own workload

• Tenacious and hardworking attitude
