The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a motivated individual to establish and lead regional supply chain for European product launches and ongoing commercial supply. The role ensures finished goods is packaged, released, and delivered to the designated European third-party logistics provider (3PL).

Scope of responsibilities include but are not limited to commercial packaging, serialization, artwork management, demand and supply planning, inventory management, and logistics and distribution.  This is a team leader role with managerial responsibilities, reporting to the head of Commercial Supply Chain and a dotted line to the ED, Trade and Distribution, Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain deliverables and timeline to ensure successful product launches and reliable commercial supply, in collaboration with CMC lead, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Trade & Distribution, and CMOs.

  • Develop and execute regional supply strategy and associated business processes/standard operating procedures, in alignment with global strategy/processes and European business needs.

  • Develop and align regional supply chain budget and FTE needs with global. Scale operations and resources as directed.

  • Lead secondary packaging and labeling activities, including but not limited to packaging design, components sourcing, vendor selection and management, serialization, and validation.

  • Lead design, generation, approval, and implementation of new artwork and printed packaging components and their revisions. Coordinate with Regulatory and Quality to meet local market and product security requirements.

  • Ensure country-level serialization requirements are met and manage day-to-day exceptions cases.

  • Manage trade and logistics for commercial shipments into Europe and to the 3PL. Coordinate shipment priorities and timelines with CMOs and Commercial Trade and Distribution.

  • Manage shipping validation to support regulatory submission milestones.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and supply data and support implementation and use of ERP inventory capabilities, including Oracle NetSuite where applicable. Establish planning parameters, monitor CMO execution, and lead responses to shortages, packaging issues, or launch delays.

  • Evaluate impact of global CMC changes and regional labeling changes on regional commercial supply. Work with Regulatory to develop associated regulatory and supply strategy.  Manage supply transitions.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a scientific field with 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, preferred 18 years’ of experience including Biotech build out.

  • Experience in commercial product launch preparation and execution.

  • Experience in commercial secondary packaging and labeling, serialization, and validation.

  • Experience in contract packaging and 3PL distribution operation.

  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing manufacturing and service agreements.

  • Experience managing both strategic and tactical/operational projects.

  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

  • Working knowledge of end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain and demand/supply planning.

  • Working knowledge of small molecule drug development and commercialization.

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial manufacturing, regulatory, and quality assurance.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Solid project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective, open, and transparent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Capable of working on multiple projects/tasks and able to meet timelines.

  • Self-starter with a high level of comfort with ambiguity and complexity and the ability to multi-task while consistently delivering quality results.

  • A team-oriented, progressive thinker who enjoys participating in an innovative and creative work environment.
