Senior Deal Desk Analyst -- Position Overview

Ready to elevate your Deal Desk career? In the Senior Deal Desk Analyst role at Adobe, you will handle complex and strategic deal structures within our enterprise sales portfolio. You will advise senior sales leaders, encourage cross-team coordination on key transactions, and contribute to developing the operational excellence of our Deal Desk function. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end deal approval processes for complex, non-standard, and high-value enterprise transactions.
• Engage with Sales teams early in the deal strategy process to influence deal build, pricing approach, and approval strategy.
• Act as a senior point of contact for Sales teams navigating advanced or non-standard deal structures.
• Bring a clear point of view on deal structure and tradeoffs; proactively surface risks, alternatives, and recommendations.
• Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Revenue Assurance, Product Business Units, and Order Management to build and communicate compelling arguments for deal approval.
• Engage directly with customers and Sales leadership during deal creation and negotiation.
• Provide regular deal status updates, pipeline forecasting, and analysis to FP&A and executive sales management.
• Identify process gaps and drive recommendations for operational improvements.
• Support and mentor Deal Desk Analysts, sharing expertise and helping build team capability.
• Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects, cross-functional initiatives, and process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related area.
• More than 5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or a comparable role within the software or technology sector.
• Deep understanding of enterprise deal structures, including multi-element arrangements.
• Strong command of revenue recognition principles and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and engage senior collaborators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or a graduate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Track record of contributing to process improvement or operational transformation initiatives.

Expected Pay Range:

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
