Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
What Will You Do?
- Define and drive the target state architecture for integrating Specialty Cyber (SC) products into the Specialty Insurance (SI) domain model, aligning technology and business stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
- Establish target state for existing SC assets (Digital integration, Policy holder portal, Risk Services etc.) aligned to broader BSI target state. Drive transition states in partnership with SC Tech
- Lead the re-architecture of the Scan platform for SI integration and performance.
- Guide Cyber product integration and migration into the Guidewire-based Strategic Platform, including Crowbar migration and next-gen risk signal integration.
- Navigate complex relationships across Technology, Business and Executive leadership to align architecture priorities with business imperatives and BSI Cyber strategic goals.
- Ensure effective adoption & scaling of go forward SC components & data flows into the SP paradigm.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Technical Expertise & Education:
- Bachelor’s in technology related field or equivalent, with 8 years of architecture experience.
- Strong architecture and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies.
- Successfully architected large scale technology initiatives.
- Leadership & Influence:
- Advanced leadership skills with the ability to take action even when there is no clear owner, inspire and motivate others, and be effective at influencing team members.
- Strategic & Business Acumen:
- Extensive experience working an agile operational model.
- Experience supporting transformational change. Able to adjust plans, priorities and strategies in response to changing circumstances.
- Insurance technology experience preferred.
- Understanding of value creation and business capability models.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Experience in identifying and analyzing current/future problems and opportunities, evaluating information to understand root causes, and exploring alternative solutions for effective decision-making.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with teammates to achieve mutually responsible results.
- Extensive experience exercising sound judgment, making decisions and committing to a position.
- Strong and effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
- 6 additional years of architecture/software engineering experience.
