Role Overview
We are currently recruiting a Senior Consultant to join our growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Limerick. This is a key role within the division, responsible for reviewing team output, managing workloads, and ensuring delivery in line with agreed service levels.
You will provide leadership across the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment while maintaining a strong focus on client service and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the continued growth and development of the Private Equity team
- Deliver high-quality client service through accurate and timely execution of all deliverables
- Manage team workloads effectively to ensure deadlines and SLAs are consistently met
- Review and oversee the completion of NAVs and valuations
- Enhance client reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members
- Promote a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
- Ensure strong risk awareness and adherence to internal controls
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors, managing queries effectively
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting deadlines
- Support team development, providing regular and constructive feedback
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including offshore team development and process automation (Investran)
- Assist in delivering on departmental goals and strategic priorities
- Support onboarding of new clients, including fund structures and reporting requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, investors, and stakeholders
- Stay informed on industry, market, and regulatory developments
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant with extensive post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
- Understanding of Irish regulatory and tax requirements relevant to fund accounting
- Experience in, or strong interest in, Private Equity Fund Administration
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong client service mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
- Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with systems/process improvement initiatives
- Experience driving efficiencies and automation in processes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and confidently at all levels
