Job Summary
This Senior - Channel Execution is part of the Marketing Services organization, which enables marketing campaigns, customer communications, and customer engagement initiatives through campaign management, audience management, and channel execution. Within Marketing Services, Channel Execution builds, tests, deploys, and optimizes customer communications and digital experiences across channels.The role applies advanced channel execution, digital marketing, and marketing technology expertise to deliver and optimize complex communications, customer journeys, and digital experiences. The role translates requirements into scalable solutions, leads execution workstreams and capability implementations, resolves complex delivery challenges, and guides less experienced associates while improving quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Execute and optimize complex customer communications, journeys, and digital experiences across channels. Design advanced content, templates, personalization, decision logic, and experience variations aligned to business objectives and customer needs. Serve as a resource for complex channel execution activities. - (50%)
- Lead test-and-learn initiatives across customer communications, journeys, and digital experiences. Evaluate performance, engagement trends, testing results, and execution outcomes, then implement improvements that strengthen customer experience, channel effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business performance. - (15%)
- Partner with business, marketing, analytics, technology, creative, and execution teams to develop scalable channel solutions. Consult on campaign design, journey planning, channel use, and execution approaches while aligning business objectives, customer experience goals, and channel capabilities. - (15%)
- Lead implementation of new channel capabilities, features, experience enhancements, execution methods, and process improvements. Evaluate emerging capabilities and support adoption of technologies, workflows, and engagement approaches that improve execution effectiveness and scalability. - (10%)
- Apply and reinforce channel execution controls, governance practices, quality standards, and risk requirements. Lead investigation and resolution of complex execution issues while ensuring communications, journeys, and digital experiences are accurate, compliant, and customer focused. - (5%)
- Guide and mentor associates by sharing channel expertise, execution best practices, and technical knowledge. Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer to strengthen team capability, execution consistency, and continuous learning. - (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Information Systems, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience executing marketing campaigns, customer communications, digital experiences, content publishing, website or mobile experiences, customer journeys, or related customer engagement programs, including technical execution and delivery of complex communications and experiences.
- 5+ years of experience using enterprise email, marketing automation, customer engagement, journey orchestration, content management, or digital experience platforms, including responsibility for complex communications, journeys, personalization, testing, troubleshooting, and digital experience delivery.
- 3+ years of experience leading channel execution projects, workstreams, platform implementations, testing initiatives, process improvements, or capability enhancements from planning through delivery, including management of timelines, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- 1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, onboarding, training, or providing channel execution guidance to associates, peers, or project team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience using Adobe Journey Optimizer or related Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities to execute complex customer communications, customer journeys, decision logic, personalization, testing, or multi-channel engagement experiences.
- Experience using Adobe Experience Manager, Movable Ink, or similar technologies to support content management, digital asset management, dynamic content, personalization, experimentation, analytics tagging, website experiences, or mobile experiences.
