About the role

We are looking for an experienced coder to boost development on yodeck’s backend, a RESTful API providing all the endpoints required by the service. Built on Django and Celery, yodeck’s backend is fully integrated with a wide collection of third-party cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, document and maintain code for existing and new functionality
• Integrate with external services
• Investigate new technologies
• Collaborate and organize with the team under the Scrum framework, converting user requirements into engineering tasks
• Collaborate with other departments such as Support, other engineering teams, Devops team

Requirements

• Work experience as a Python Developer of at least 5 years
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Debugging and optimization skills
• Unit/integration testing experience
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good ai tool usage
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Excellent command of English language
• Team spirit
• Experience working in a lean/agile development environment
