Job Description:

This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution that supports the strategic outcomes of the Business' Products and Services. Key responsibilities include defining the target operating environment, designing for client resiliency, assisting with solution design, and defining non-functional requirements. Job expectations include working with stakeholders and service providers aligned to the Business' strategic objectives, evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions, and contributing to the architecture roadmap.

 

Seasoned hands on Solution & Systems Architect to lead the efforts for defining the functional & technical architectural solutions for core customer/account reference data applications in the Consumer Data Platform technology architecture group. Accountable for systems design, technical architecture, strategy and technical standards and governance. The individual should have the aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business analysts and developers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Works across the business, operations and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog to enable the technology roadmap and functionality to support evolving capabilities and services
• Contributes to the creation of the architecture roadmap of defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) in support of the product roadmap and the development of best practices including standardized templates
• Clarifies the architecture, assists with system design to support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments
• Facilitates solution driven discussions, leads the design of complex architectures, and finds creative solutions through knowledge of domain, practical experiments, and proof of concepts while ensuring architecture is flexible, modular, and adaptable
• Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions
• Supports the team as needed to select the technology stack required for solutions and helps select preferred technology products
• Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability)
• Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across different audiences including technical, managerial, business executives and/or vendors.
• Contribute to driving architecture strategy to keep it aligned with industry advancement and new technologies.
• Develop and communicate business cases to management
• Produce detailed technical design to accomplish client requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical resources to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
• Collaborate with the technical development team to produce technical specification for development and systems integration requirements.
• Provide current best practices and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the technical specification document.
• Participate in performing Proof of Concept (POC) for various upcoming technologies to fit in business requirement.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Seasoned hands on Solution & Systems Architect with 10+ yrs of relevant experience
• Deep expertise in API-led architecture, microservices, event-driven architectures, and service integration patterns for building scalable, loosely coupled systems.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, web services, asynchronous messaging, and integration solutions using technologies such as JSON, XML, Kafka, JMS, or equivalent messaging platforms.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, domain-driven design (DDD), enterprise integration patterns, and application architecture best practices.
• Experience with modern Java development frameworks and tools, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, and related development ecosystems.
• Strong experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed applications using Java/J2EE and modern enterprise architecture patterns.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including cloud-native design principles and platform services.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related cloud-native deployment models.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and release automation using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of application resiliency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Experience designing secure solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, mTLS, API security, and enterprise security standards.
• Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns, including real-time data processing, master data management, customer data platforms, event streaming, and data integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering, scalability, capacity planning, and operational excellence for mission-critical enterprise platforms.
• Experience working within agile product delivery models and collaborating across architecture, engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technology strategy and drive architectural decisions across large organizations.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience designing solutions for customer data management, customer 360 platforms, identity resolution, customer mastering, consent management, and data governance.
• Understanding of enterprise data domains, data lineage, metadata management, privacy regulations, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital, analytics, personalization, and AI/ML use cases through modern customer data platforms.

Pay range

$140,500.00 - $205,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
