Senior AP Specialist

Your Opportunity, Your Team

Accounts Payable (AP) Team is partnering the business by making sure the vendors are paid on time for the goods and services they deliver. Apart from this,  AP team also maintains vendor database and supports the pricing analysis.

Where You’ll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be on-site at our Kraków Office between 3-5 times per month. Onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company. 

What You’ll Do

• Processing invoices/documents in various systems within SLA and resolving exceptions
• Overseeing invoices/documents processes by setting priorities and providing resolution to exceptional cases as well as creating various types of charges and reimbursements to vendors
• Answering process-related inquiries regarding more complex cases and escalations, analyzing potential problems and solutions
• Documenting overall process changes, preparing and reviewing standard operating procedures
• Leading AP projects efficiently, ensuring their completion within the agreed timelines and according to project governance guidelines
• Proposing own ideas of improvements inc. risk & benefit analysis, planning and driving proposed changes
• Responsible for month-end activities, reporting and SOX controls reconciliations, proactively verifying effectiveness of controls in scope
• Cooperating with auditors and reviewing necessary documentation
• Actively participating in testing of new systems - may be involved in preparation of test cases
• Contributing to team effort by performing other duties as assigned by AP Management Team
• Preparing onboarding plans and overseeing progress and completion of NJ training, as well as providing training for duties in scope

What You’ll Bring

• Present good command of English (at least B2 level)
• Have min. 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or other finance related area
• Have excellent communication and numeric skills with good attention to detail
• Have the ability to adapt when, due to business demands, deadlines and priorities change
• Present the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working with SAP/Oracle and educational background in finance/accounting related fields will be a asset
