The Senior Corporate Accountant drives accurate, insightful accounting across fixed assets, leases, accruals, and corporate cost areas. This role leads key close activities, cash flow and balance sheet analysis, controls, audit support, and process improvements while using automation and AI-enabled tools to make accounting smarter and more efficient.

What You Will Do 

• Own assigned month-end close activities for fixed assets, leases, corporate accruals, and other corporate accounting areas, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, validating supporting schedules, and resolving reconciling items.

• Manage accounting and analysis for assigned corporate cost areas, including fixed assets, leases, legal expenses, and related accruals.

• Review and ensure completeness of lease records in Visual Lease using current agreements, payment expectations, and inputs from CBRE; validate accuracy of lease support and coordinate updates as needed.

• Analyze actual results against forecast and prior periods for topical areas, investigate significant or unusual activity, and clearly explain key cost drivers and changes in accrual estimates.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready support for assigned accounts and accruals, including calculation methodologies, assumptions, approvals, agreements, and period-over-period changes.

• Prepare the monthly cash flow statement, identify significant fluctuations, and validate alignment with the balance sheet and income statement. Prepare balance sheet variance analysis for management review.

• Perform control reviews for assigned processes, identify accounting or documentation gaps, implement corrective actions, and help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.

• Improve and document end-to-end accounting processes, including updating policies, standard operating procedures, control documentation, and ownership requirements.

• Use Oracle Fusion, FCCS, ARCS, Smart View, Excel, automation, and AI-assisted analytical tools to reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve the quality and timeliness of accounting analysis.

• Review accounting work prepared by other team members, as assigned; provide constructive feedback; assist with issue resolution; and share accounting and systems best practices.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation, responding to questions, and helping resolve audit observations related to assigned areas.

What You Will Bring 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required.
• Certification: CPA required.
• Job Experience: 3-5 years in accounting role. Public accounting and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Accounting Experience: Corporate accounting experience preferred; familiarity with Fixed asset accounting, cash flow, or general ledger experience a plus.
• Systems: Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP experience required. Oracle Fusion experience preferred, including FCCS and ARCS exposure. Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or ERP implementation experience a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical, time management, prioritization, and organization skills. Experience with AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making a plus.
• Language: Spanish proficiency a plus.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
