A day in the life…

We're looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join our Wollongong Sales team and help drive advertising revenue through trusted partnerships and innovative media solutions.

Based in Wollongong, NSW servicing local clients from across the region. You'll work closely with clients out in the field and remotely with our internal teams, reporting directly to the General Sales Manager.

In this role, you'll represent some of Australia's most recognised media brands, selling across Seven Network, 7plus, Channel 10, LiSTNR and Total TV solutions, giving clients access to powerful cross-platform advertising opportunities spanning broadcast TV, streaming, digital audio and online channels.

What you'll do:

• You will be at the forefront of media sales, selling Seven’s premium TV airtime and digital products.

• Join a highly trained, fun, and high-performing team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Backed by Seven’s strong brand and reputation, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through television airtime, digital products, and commercial production services.

• Build strong client relationships while actively seeking new opportunities to showcase Seven’s unmatched media reach.

• Develop, execute, and optimise advertising campaigns using market insights, client data, and trading expertise to maximise performance and results.

• Collaborate with internal teams while mentoring Coordinators and Account Managers, contributing to a high-performing sales culture and ensuring best-practice campaign delivery.

What will you need

You’re a professional, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll also bring:

• A current drivers license and vehicle is a must.

• 4–6 years' account management and B2B sales experience, with a track record in new business development and delivering commercial outcomes

• Strong senior stakeholder management (e.g. GAD level), backed by excellent communication and emotional intelligence

• Skilled negotiator and presenter, able to influence senior audiences and deliver compelling proposals

• Commercially sharp, identifying client needs and designing insight-led solutions (media/advertising experience a plus)

• Advanced trading and campaign planning skills, including schedule building, CPM analysis, and optimisation

• Self-motivated and collaborative, managing competing priorities, mentoring junior staff, and staying on top of media trends
