About the role: 

The Seaway Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the restaurant service team and maintaining the flow and organization of daily operations across the restaurant, bar, and terrace. This role assists with table maintenance, water service, mise en place, clearing, restocking, and other service needs while maintaining Four Seasons standards. This position is part of the Food & Beverage team at Seaway and reports to Food & Beverage Management. 

  

What you will do: 

• Support Servers, Runners, Bartenders, and Restaurant Management throughout service to ensure a seamless guest experience 

• Assist with water service, clearing dishes, crumbing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining guest seating areas 

• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations throughout the shift 

• Prepare and maintain appropriate mise en place for Seaway’s restaurant, bar, and terrace 

• Stock silverware, glassware, plates, condiments, finger towels, and coffee service supplies accurately and efficiently 

• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, professional service throughout the dining experience 

• Maintain strong table presentation and ensure service details consistently meet Four Seasons standards 

• Maintain basic knowledge of Seaway’s food, wine, and beverage offerings to assist guests and the service team 

• Communicate effectively with Culinary and front-of-house teams to support timely and efficient service 

• Assist with food delivery and preparation of specialty coffees when needed 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, terrace, and service areas 

• Support other Food & Beverage areas as business needs require 

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and Four Seasons service standards 

 

What you bring: 

• High school diploma or equivalent experience 

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar position preferred 

• Previous hotel, resort, restaurant, or Food & Beverage experience preferred 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Positive, proactive, and service-oriented approach 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized work environment 

• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced restaurant team 

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English 

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions 

• Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform the physical responsibilities associated with restaurant service

Schedule & Hours: 

• Flexible schedule required, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
