Responsibilities:
Strengthening our product-focused research and innovation team.
Responsible for planning, organizing and performing research projects.
Creation of early phase concepts and their practical implementation.
Processes project inquiries during initial contacts with customers.
Assists in analyzing and interpreting possible future technology and market trends.
Works in cross-functional interdisciplinary resource teams from other functional areas and supports ongoing projects.
Maintains documentation in accordance with customer requirements and notified body requirements.
Ensure that tasks in his area of responsibility are processed in a quality and timely manner.
Ensures compliance with company policies, safety/ergonomics standards and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications:
Successfully completed scientific or technical studies (master's degree or PhD)
Several years of experience in development in the life sciences sector (preferably chemical, pharmaceutical or medical development)
Product development experience (preferably coatings or drug delivery systems for medical applications)
Scientific work / Design of experiments
Research and development planning as well as its implementation and documentation
Project management skills
Interdisciplinary work and understanding/knowledge of medical applications
In-depth knowledge of medical technology and Initial experience in business development
Communication and teamwork skills
Proactive and pragmatic attitude aimed at tackling problems head-on and finding solutions
Commitment, initiative and willingness to perform
Basic knowledge of regulations and laws in the area of medical devices
Very good knowledge of German and English
