Openbank is looking for a Saving & Investing Strategy Lead based out of Madrid, Spain.

Customer Strategy is part of Openbank's Growth organization and is responsible for defining the bank's commercial strategy across the customer lifecycle. As the starting point of the commercial journey, the team combines customer, market and business insights to shape the strategic priorities that drive acquisition, engagement and long-term value. Working cross-functionally across Growth, Customer Strategy ensures these priorities are translated into measurable business outcomes.

As Saving & Investing Strategy Lead, you will shape Openbank's strategy to grow and maximize the value of our customers' savings and investments, strengthening their long-term relationship with the bank. You will combine customer understanding, market insights and business analysis to identify opportunities, influence strategic decisions and optimize the balance between customer value, engagement and sustainable business growth.

• Define and continuously evolve Openbank's savings strategy, identifying opportunities through customer insights, market dynamics and competitive analysis.
• Design differentiated and sustainable initiatives to grow customer balances and business profitability while strengthening customer engagement and long-term loyalty.
• Analyse the end-to-end savings journey, from awareness and consideration to renewal and retention, identifying commercial, digital and communication levers to improve customer engagement and value.
• Monitor savings product performance and market evolution, generating insights to support strategic decision making and proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities across savings and investment products, understanding customer needs and behaviours to optimize the allocation of customer balances and maximize overall business value.
• Prioritize strategic initiatives balancing customer experience, business impact and contribution to Openbank's engagement and primacy objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinating Product, Marketing, Data, Operations and Technology teams to ensure successful execution and timely delivery of strategic projects.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting or in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Growth or Commercial Strategy roles within Banking, Financial Services or Digital businesses.
• Proven experience defining growth, customer value or commercial strategies based on data and business insights.
• Experience analysing business performance, customer behaviour and commercial KPIs to identify opportunities and support strategic decision making.
• Experience in financial analysis, with a solid understanding of banking P&L dynamics, key revenue and cost drivers, particularly those related to interest rates and net interest income.
• Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Previous experience in digital banking, savings and investment products, wealth management or customer lifecycle strategies will be highly valued.

Education

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

Preferred

• Additional education or certifications in Strategy, Data Analytics, Marketing or Digital Business.

Language

• Spanish (Full Professional Proficiency).
• English (Professional Working Proficiency – C1).
