Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s OneTech Business Technology Platform Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Techno/functional Senior Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to own the functional and technical side of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) delivery and support for numerous Toyota North America’s SAP initiatives.

Reporting to the Product Manager, SAP HANA Applications, the person in this role will support the OneTech Business Technology Platform department's objective to provide strong hands-on functional and technical design expertise within complex enterprise system environments, strategically support business initiatives, and work in a fast-paced team atmosphere effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting and Tax stakeholders to understand current processes, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities. Analyze, re-design and implement FICO and Tax configuration and processes to enhance functionality within SAP. Manage Tax application from a Product Owner perspective - 40%
• Troubleshoot and identify gaps in the integration points between Toyota’s SAP landscape and Vertex systems - 20%
• Work with Toyota’s AMS provider to prioritize and resolve issues - 20%
• Lead and look at support packs/enhance packs required for Toyota and ensure processes adhere to SAP Finance & Accounting best practices - 10%
• Establish project and operations KPI. Measure plan vs. actual. Develop improvement plans. Communicate accurate status of deliverables, SLA, Risk, and issues. Stay current on future strategic directions & support co-workers to meet additional team goals - 10%

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
• 6+ years hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration (it's a plus to have SAP tax configuration experience)
• Experience in monitoring and review of Vendor Recon configurations and enhancements
• 3-4 full life cycle SAP implementations serving as hands on and lead covering design, build, testing and support, with at least one implementation including tax set up
• 6+ years hands-on experience with troubleshooting with integrated applications
• 5-8 years’ experience with Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, Version upgrades
• Experience with FI/CO integration to other SAP modules
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, write functional specs and work with developers on reports, interfaces, enhancements and Fiori apps, including SAP tax reporting
• Understanding of month-end, year-end close and financial reporting

Added bonus if you have

• Master’s preferred in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
• SAP or Vertex Certification
• Experience in Vertex O Series
• Hands on experience on Vertex Reporting needs
• Ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities
• Ability to work at a fast pace under high pressure
• Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong business process knowledge
• Enthusiastic and eager to take responsibility and initiative
• Self-motivated individuals preferred
