The work
The SAP Process Integration Developer is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑release support of SAP integration solution architectures. This role requires a blend of SAP PI/PO expertise and modern API framework knowledge to enable seamless system‑to‑system communication, data exchange, and integration across enterprise environments.
You will define integration requirements, conduct feasibility assessments, participate in subsystem and large‑scale system planning, and develop technical documentation. Frequent knowledge transfer and enablement of best practices in API integration techniques is expected.
At the senior level, the SAP Process Integration Developer acts as a subject matter expert, may lead individuals assisting in project activities, and is responsible for providing guidance across budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning. This role also includes team leadership responsibilities such as mentoring and training junior team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support SAP integration architectures across enterprise systems
- Combine SAP PI/PO expertise with modern API frameworks to enable system‑to‑system communication and data exchange
- Conduct frequent knowledge transfer sessions on best practices and modern API integration techniques
- Define integration requirements and lead feasibility assessments for complex system integrations
- Participate in subsystem and enterprise‑level planning activities to ensure adherence to technical schedules
- Develop comprehensive technical integration documentation
- Lead and mentor junior team members; support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning
- Guide integration delivery teams as a senior subject matter expert
Here’s what you need:
- 7+ years of SAP PI/PO or relevant system integration experience
- 1+ years of SAP BTP IS or relevant modern integration experience
- Strong understanding of API integration frameworks and enterprise data exchange patterns
- Experience leading integration teams or supporting enterprise‑scale integration delivery

- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
