About the Role:-

This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a focus on Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AI-powered solutions (Agent force, Einstein, and related generative/predictive AI tooling). The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of program flow for Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration logic, effective coding, and unit testing (Apex test classes, Jest for LWC).

Responsibilities:-

• Interface with business analysts, product owners, and other technical personnel to finalize requirements for Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AI-driven features
• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity, including Apex classes, LWC components, Flows, and integrations
• Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Design, build, and maintain Service Cloud capabilities (case routing, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, automation) that support large-scale support operations
• Design, build, and maintain Experience Cloud portals and self-service experiences for internal and external users
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-powered enhancements (e.g., Agent force agents, Einstein features, prompt-based automation) to improve case deflection, agent productivity, and user self-service
• Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews aligned with Salesforce platform governance and release management standards
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders, including DevOps/release management and admin teams for adjacent platforms
• Resolve technical issues as necessary, including Level 2/3 escalations from support teams
• Keep abreast of new Salesforce releases (three annual platform releases) and emerging AI capabilities relevant to Service and Experience Cloud
• Complete bug fixes and participate in on-call or escalation rotations as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:-

• Proficiency with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and other data manipulation languages within the Salesforce platform
• Understanding of Salesforce data modeling principles, including object relationships, sharing rules, and large data volume (LDV) considerations
• Ability to work with complex, multi-org data models and integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events)
• Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML, XML, SQL, and SOQL; familiarity with Java/J2EE, C/C++, .Net a plus for integration work
• Hands-on experience configuring and extending Service Cloud (Case Management, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Knowledge, CTI integrations)
• Hands-on experience building and customizing Experience Cloud sites (LWR/Aura templates, community components, guest user security, self-service portals)
• Working knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities —Agent force agents, Einstein Bots, Prompt Builder, Einstein Case Classification/Reply Recommendations, and how to responsibly integrate generative AI into service and self-service workflows
• Familiarity with industry best practices for code coverage and Salesforce release governance (sandboxes, change sets, CI/CD via Copado/Gearset/SFDX)
• Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources, including business analysts and third-party ISV vendors
• Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Knowledge of data storage subsystems, including Salesforce storage limits, Big Objects, and archiving strategies
• Knowledge of test-driven development and Salesforce testing frameworks (Apex unit tests, Jest, Salesforce DX scratch orgs)
• Ability to complete moderately complex bug fixes and root-cause analysis across declarative (Flow) and programmatic (Apex/LWC) automation
• Good oral and written communications skills, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, including hands-on Salesforce development
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant certification a plus
• Experience with AI features within Salesforce (Agent force, Einstein Copilot/Bots, Prompt Builder, Einstein for Service) preferred
