Position: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

Location: CABA, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Candidate must be within local travel distance to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role will begin as remote until we find a co-working space in CABA, Buenos Aires.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Manage administrative functions including user provisioning, role and permission configuration, business unit setup, and security settings.
• Data Management: Architect and maintain Data Extensions, attribute groups, and data relationships within Contact Builder. Write and optimize SQL queries to segment audiences and automate data imports/exports.
• System Integration: Monitor and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and Marketing Cloud.
• Campaign Support & Configuration: Assist the marketing team with the technical configuration of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the first line of defense for platform issues, troubleshooting failed automations, email deliverability issues, and data sync errors.
• Governance & Compliance: Enforce best practices for data hygiene, folder organization, and naming conventions. Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, and other email privacy regulations.
• Release Management: Stay current with Salesforce releases, assessing how new features and updates will impact the current environment and recommending platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–7 years of dedicated experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Certifications: Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant is a strong plus).
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for complex data segmentation.
  • Familiarity with AMPscript for dynamic content personalization.
  • Understanding of basic HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting.
• Ecosystem Knowledge: Solid understanding of how Marketing Cloud interacts with core Salesforce clouds via Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional SFMC modules (e.g., Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Interaction Studio/Personalization).
• Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP) within the Salesforce ecosystem.
