Sales Support Specialist

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team in developing and closing opportunities for the sale of products to nuclear power plants.  You are responsible for independently planning and implementing projects that support the sales organization and the optimization of sales processes. You will provide essential technical and administrative support, deliver accurate product information, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales function.

Location: Brea, CA

Salary Range: $74,100 - $98,000

Your Challenge:

• Plans, executes, and monitors sales-related projects to enhance operational efficiency, improve sales team performance, and meet business objectives. Collaborates with cross functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and external customer support to ensure successful project outcomes. Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities within the sales support function and develops strategies to implement changes.
• Provides detailed technical and administrative information related to products, services, and solutions offered by the company to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to close deals effectively. Creates and maintains product and process documentation, presentations, and technical proposals.  Supports the development of customer proposals.
• Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses within the CRM system.   Data entry into CRM. Tracks and reports on sales performance metrics to management, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Supporting user onboarding training and adoption of CRM related tools through maintaining process documentation and user guides.

Your Expertise:

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in planning, executing sales-related projects that support sales initiatives.
• Post-secondary degree in business (or related discipline) or other related technical field
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to details.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other similar CRM programs
• Strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of the sales process, and CRM best practices.
• Knowledge of the nuclear power industry desired but not required.
