The Sales & Pricing Analyst focuses on Pricing Desk Duties to support the customer contracting business, ERP System Enablement and Sales Team Data Analytics Activity. The position is accountable for price list updates including GS1 for the major distributors Sysco and GFS/Limson along with regional distributors.  This role will provide back up and support for the Pricing Analyst for product segments Flour, Oats, Mixes and EN Alternative Grains Pricing Activity. Also responsible for execution of Trade Agreement Programs, Sales Margin Reports by Sales Team Territory and Customer Margin Data Analytics. Finally D365 System and Power App Tool Support along with connectivity liaison with IT, Sales and CSR Teams.

Responsibilities:

• 75% Pricing & Data Systems Support
• 25% Sales Support

Pricing Desk Duties:

• Product Price List updates including customer portal entry for major distributors Sysco and GFS/Limson.
• GS1 system management of products for access with participating customers.
• Contract price activity with national and regional distributors using system pricing tools.
• Pricing Desk back up and support for the Pricing Analyst for product segments Flour, Oats, Mix and EN Price Activity.
• Pricing Desk Liason activity with sales and customer service teams for contract price & volume needs.
• Custom Price Model builds, refines and execution to optimize efficiency and real time cost component captures.
• Assist Pricing Analyst with analysis of customer quantity and lead time contracting activity to enhance efficiency of coverage positions.
• Complete Trade Agreement Programs to support Flour, Oats, Mix and EN Products for customer business and shipping freight type activity. 

Data & Systems Management

• Provide support connectivity on ERP System (D365 and Power App) performance with pricing sales support needs.  Serve as SME for any system testing activity and future system transition to Vault Tool Capability.
• Provide sales team with ongoing feedback on system impacts to the sales business activity and customers.
• Monitor systems for trends, opportunities and impacts for improvement to share with Sales, Pricing, IT  and General Management Leadership.

Sales Support Data Activity

• Provide Account Managers with selling margin data across all product segments directly relevant to each team member customer territory .
• Implement data analytics capability with sales team using available tools to enable product margin growth opportunities with customers.
• Conduct Sales Proxy support with customers in absence of Account Manager.
• Conduct Inside Seller Customer Management activity as per opportunity.
• Troubleshoot with sales team on system issues, process questions, or customer inquiries.

People, Process, & Technology

• Leverage existing Ardent Mills resources and technology, such as Salesforce CRM, to operate effectively.
• Utilize internal support teams when needed to better service customers accounts.

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:

• BA or BS degree in Finance, Commerce, or other related field
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Detail oriented
• Proven analytical skills, comfort with ERP system and data analytics
• Proficiency in Excel
• Capable interpersonal skills and collaboration with team members cross functionally
• Good to have however not require includes proficiency in French and prior flour milling experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $90,000.00 - $105,000.00, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 5% Annual.
