YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Manager is responsible for all activities related to selling of products and sales administration, stocks & debtors management, cost control, coaching/leading as well as the profit and loss of the savoury segment

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve or exceed annual sales budget and margin objectives for the assigned territory or market segments while maintaining expenses with assigned budget guidelines. 
• Establish strong business relationships with existing customer base and develop value relationships with potential clients to expand business.
• Responsible to maintain an existing account base and identify & develop growth opportunities within savoury segment to expand market coverage as well as market penetration.
• Generate the plan in full cooperation with suppliers and business unit manager. Implement and monitor the marketing plan.
• Generate and keep updated a marketing/sales plan for relevant products by identifying key customers and products for the business, monitoring competitors’ activities, to recommend objectives and strategies for various suppliers and their products.
• Utilize the Brenntag Sales Process and update the CRM with the details regarding client communications/sales activities on daily basis, as well as complete all other assigned reporting requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.                                    

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry desirable
• Experience: +5 years of chemical or ingredients sales experience in food industry 
• Technically sound in Food & Nutrition discipline with the ability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition of nutrition/raw ingredient products
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian chemical market and regulatory environment
• Results-driven, resilient, and customer-focused
• Enthusiastic, self-initiative and aggressive
• Excellent business/commercial acumen
