As a Sales Activation Executive, you will play an important role in supporting business growth within the country. You will ensure the seamless deployment of our product portfolio, including new product development (NPD). You will coordinate the execution of digital brand activation initiatives and the development and deployment of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) to drive category growth and enhance brand visibility across various distribution channels. You will source and work with 3rd party service partners to deliver key brand and communication projects, both in digital and on trade. You will monitor, evaluate and report various communication program executions in the different platforms, ensuring agreed KPI’s are met and achieved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Portfolio: Overseeing implementation and on-going management of local portfolio
- Media agencies: Collaboration with local partners with focus on digital
- POSM Development: Coordinate the production, deployment, and execution of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM), working closely with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, consistent brand presentation, and effective in-store visibility across different channels
- Tailored Channel and Category Planning: Support the execution of agreed channel and category plans by coordinating with Key Account Managers and third-party suppliers, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely deployment of POSM and promotional initiatives
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong working relationships with Key Account Managers, distributors, suppliers, and external agencies to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives
- Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign and sales performance metrics, evaluate results against agreed KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve execution and business performance
- Merchandising and Promotions: Provide data-driven recommendations for merchandising and promotional initiatives to drive total category growth for both retailers and the business
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Category Experience: Previous experience within the FMCG sector is highly desirable, and expertise in the specific category (e.g., pet food) is advantageous.
- Trade Marketing: A proven track record of trade marketing roles, showcasing a strong understanding of customer engagement and category growth strategies
- Sales: A strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies, as well as knowledge of consumer behavior and retail dynamics
- Content Editing Tools: Some experience editing tools such as Adobe or Canva to make minor creative adjustments and support marketing execution

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, third-party agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis or visualization tools to extract insights, analyze performance metrics, and prepare meaningful reports
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines within budget constraints.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present campaign updates, performance insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business priorities, market conditions, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies
- Language Proficiency: Good command of English, both written and verbal
- Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
