As a Safety/Health & Environment Admin Officer

Reports to:  EHS & Sustainability Manager

Direct reports: No

What you will do:

·       - Prepare inspection reports for emergency equipment such as fire water systems, emergency alarms, emergency lighting, fire exits, and other safety-related equipment. 

- Maintain safety communication boards and distribute safety information to promote workplace safety, including: 

- Publishing safety news, sourcing information for Safety Talk activities, preparing monthly safety newsletters, communicating accident statistics, and issuing monthly reports. 

- Prepare documents for safety induction training for contractors and new employees, and arrange personal protective equipment for new employees and visitors. 

- Maintain EHS documentation systems in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GHPS, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, ISO 9000, URSA and SMETA requirements. 

- Prepare meeting minutes for departmental meetings such as Safety Committee meetings and problem-solving review meetings. 

- Prepare reports, collect statistics, and analyze accident and illness data. 

Perform duties under the company fire prevention and firefighting plan as recorder and communication coordinator. 

- Support implementation of the annual Safety, Health and Environment plan. 

Manage permits, environmental reports and EIA requirements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 

- Report abnormal conditions or issues that may impact personnel safety, the environment, operational activities, product food safety, or the food safety management system to the supervisor or designated person. 

- Support quality and food safety management systems including FSSC 22000, GHPS, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NON-GMO and other company requirements. 

- Participate in Ingredion work process improvement initiatives and the IPS system through Tier meetings, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and presentation of safety improvement opportunities. 

- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors. 

What you will bring:

·       Diploma Certificate (Higher Vocational Certificate) or higher in any field.

Who you are:  

. At least 1 year of experience in a related field.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
