Safeguarding Regulatory Specialist
Full Time / 37.50 hours per week / Monday to Friday
Predominately remote (some occasional travel may be required)
Salary From £35k per annum

Purpose of the Role
To support the effective management of safeguarding and regulatory processes, ensuring accurate record keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements across Bright Horizons.

Key Accountabilities
Manage safeguarding notifications and regulatory submissions.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails.
Coordinate safeguarding cases, actions, and compliance activities.
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up of actions.
Support and advise operational teams on safeguarding processes.
Coordinate Ready to Respond meetings and Safeguarding Advice Line activity.
Track safeguarding risks, trends, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and reporting obligations.
Essential / Desirable Experience
Experience in within a regulated environment
Experience with auditing for a large organisation (Childcare, schools, healthcare)
Experience with compliance and safeguarding
Strong organisation, documentation, and record-keeping skills
Knowledge of governance, audit, and regulatory processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Experience
Experience with safeguarding, Ofsted notifications, or LADO referrals
Background in early years, education, healthcare, or another regulated sector
Knowledge of case management or HR systems (e.g. Workday)
Experience supporting audits, inspections, or compliance reviews
Qualifications
Full and relevant Level 3 qualification is desirable
