Job Title:
(S) Accounts Receivable Representative
Overview:
- Keeps track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding invoices.
- Processes payments on balances due.
- Conducts auditing for receivables.
- Answers customer questions via email and phone.
- Investigates missing or incomplete documentation to meet billing requirements.
Typical Functions:
- Reaches out to past due accounts regularly.
- Logs results of collection efforts.
- Records checks received in company accounting system.
- Alerts supervisors of customers who aren't paying past due amounts.
- Negotiates deadlines or payment plans when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
