Position Title: Runner/Material Handler

Reports To: Senior Logistics Supervisor

Position Summary:

• As a runner and material handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, pulling, staging, restocking materials within the warehouse and shop areas.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Safely.

• Load and unload trucks, crates, pallets, and other materials.

• Pull and stage materials for restocking and job requirements.

• Return unused  excess materials from jobs to appropriate warehouse locations.

• Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.

• Time Management – Ensure quality and quantity of work is performed in accordance to KSB standards.

• Team Player – Maintains positive relationships; supports colleagues; demonstrates a positive attitude.

• Organization and Administrative Skills – Organizing and maintaining records, files, and databases.

• Detail Oriented – Demonstrated attention to detail (parts, identification numbers, component part numbers, bill of lading, packing lists) when retrieving, packing, and shipping for KSB.

• Communication – Able to speak, read and write in English. Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.

• Store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

• Follow guidelines of ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 18001.

• Manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished product and help with physical inventory.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse environment. Must be certified (or obtain certification) for forklift operation.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time, hourly position. Normal hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, 40 hours a week; with possible requirement of extended hours.

Salary Range: $16 - $19/hr
