About The Opportunity
The Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.Essential Functions
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements
- Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed
- Assist with mounting plates
- Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end
- Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product
- Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
- Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance
- Palletize stacks of finished product on ski
- Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
- Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business

- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
- Good mathematical skills
- Good communication skills

This position is a 2nd shift position from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
This position may be required to work overtime.
The wage range for this position is $20.19-$27.31/hour (wage is based on experience)
