- What you'll do:
This role is a Licensed Registered Pharmacist (RPh) that plans and provides professional pharmacy services and standards of practice in accordance with its level of experience and education, State Board of Pharmacy, regulatory, and licensing agencies, Federal and State laws, and established policies and procedures. This position integrates the art, science, leadership, and knowledge of pharmacy clinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical, and respectful healthcare services.
- Responsible for providing pharmacy care to support operations, clinical, retail, and specialty pharmacy services in the ambulatory care areas. Responsible for ensuring performance excellence in terms of quality, safety, service, affordability, and technology.
- Practice is guided by pharmacy process, policy, procedure, protocol, standards, and participation in professional/shared governance. Independently and safely provides pharmaceutical services to assigned areas or technical/operational services. Provides Pharmacy services that require advanced skill or training. Acts as a resource for others and may serve in intermittent expanded roles
What you'll need:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required. PharmD preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Active Indiana Pharmacist License. Current vaccination certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a pharmacist in retail or ambulatory/outpatient clinic, hospital, or one (1) year experience as a pharmacist resident preferred.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently.
- Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.
