The Retail Inventory Analyst will ensure proper inventory levels and maintenance for all Peter Millar retail stores. Responsibilities include replenishment of all doors, managing store customer orders including corporate embroidery orders, monitoring store silo/category sales, identifying trends, and monitoring the scope and timing of seasonal changes, managing bulk order transfers, and coordinating shipping / receiving and warehousing of merchandise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pro-actively manage replenishment forecast / needs based on current and historical inventory and sales performance developed at category level and implemented down to SKU level specifics
- Work in tandem with other members of the merchandising and planning team to identify weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales trends
- Highlight risks / areas of opportunity: Top Sellers, Bottom Sellers, Sell-Through, etc. - identifying key opportunities and providing appropriate recommendations to merchandising team
- Review KPIs on regular basis to maximize inventory productivity and sell-through, inventory turn, & on hand inventory levels by location to determine replenishment needs
- Communicate any inventory concerns with merchandising and planning teams
- Maintain a consistent stream of communication with store managers regarding overall feedback
- Manage all shipments and deliveries - execute timely processing and follow up of orders to ensure targeted in-stock levels and communicate any issues to distribution center team
- Assist merchandising team with stock balancing based on slow mover identification and potential stock outs in other locations (i.e. returns from store to DC or store-to-store inventory transfers)
- Ensure on-time delivery and assist with allocation of new season merchandise and monthly deliveries. Update NSR report regularly with constant communication of inbound product delivery delays to merchandising team
- Manage PMRTL and GFRTL labels and assist in executing inventory transfers from bulk orders to retail inventory labels
- Oversee Fulfillit Dashboard including analysis of on-time orders and fulfillment rates.
- Provide support to stores for Fulfillits
- Monitor store customer orders between two warehouses, with special attention to rush shipments
- Assist in new store openings requiring occasional travel

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business and/or Finance preferred)
- 2-3 years of inventory management experience
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI
